Lexie Art runs a public MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so AI assistants such as Claude can search the prints on sale and answer with their sizes, materials, prices and links. No account or API key is needed.
https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp
Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it "Lexie Art" and paste this URL:
https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp
Run in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http lexie-prints https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):
{
"mcpServers": {
"lexie-prints": {
"url": "https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp"
}
}
}Add to .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace:
{
"servers": {
"lexie-prints": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp"
}
}
}Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use the URL directly. For clients that only support local (stdio) servers, bridge with mcp-remote:
{
"mcpServers": {
"lexie-prints": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote",
"https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp"
]
}
}
}search_prints— searches the prints on sale by what the image shows, its description, its location or the photographer's name, in Romanian or English, or lists the newest prints. Returns 10 to 25 results per page, each with its photographer, page and image links, and every print option with its size, material and price in lei.
Once connected, try asking: “Find forest prints on Lexie Art”, “What are the newest prints on Lexie Art?” or “Show me prints by Radu Galan and what they cost”
The server is read-only and can't place orders. To buy a print, follow its link and order on art.lexie.xyz.
The server is free to use and limited to about 30 requests per minute and 5 open connections per IP address. Clients that go over the limit get HTTP 429 and can retry shortly after. A machine-readable summary is available at /llms.txt.
