# Lexie Art

> Lexie Art (art.lexie.xyz) is a Romanian online store for photographic prints. Photographers publish their images here, and each image is sold as a print in several sizes and materials (canvas, glossy photo paper, acrylic glass), priced in Romanian lei. AI agents can search the prints and see their sizes, materials and prices through a public MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

## MCP server

- Endpoint: https://mcp.lexie.xyz/mcp
- Transport: Streamable HTTP; no authentication required
- Setup instructions for Claude and other MCP clients: https://art.lexie.xyz/connect-ai
- Fair use: about 30 requests per minute and 5 open connections per IP (an open stream counts); heavier traffic receives HTTP 429
- Read-only: the server can't place orders. To buy a print, follow its page link and order on art.lexie.xyz.

### Tools

- `search_prints(query="", limit=20, page=1, sort="relevance")`: search the prints on sale. `query` matches what the image shows (from AI-written descriptions, in Romanian and English), its description, its location and the photographer's name, e.g. "padure", "forest" or "Radu Galan". Filler words such as "photos" and words under 3 letters are ignored. With an empty query, it lists the newest prints; if nothing searchable is left in a query, it does the same and says so on the first line. `sort` is `relevance` or `newest`; `limit` is 10 to 25 results per page; `page` starts at 1. Returns a numbered list with the total found and the next page; with `relevance`, at most 2,000 results are ranked, so the total and the pages stop there. Each result has its description, ID, photographer, location, upload date, image size in pixels, page link (https://art.lexie.xyz/image/<path>), image link, and every print option on sale with its size in mm, material and price in lei. Queries are cut to 200 characters and only Latin-script words are searched, so translate other scripts first. A response is capped at about 30,000 characters; when longer it ends with `[truncated]`, so ask for a smaller `limit`.
